National Cancer Institute to Grant Exclusive Patent License for CAR Therapies for FLT3 Expressing Cancers

The National Cancer Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services, is considering granting an exclusive patent license to ElevateBio, a biotech company based in Cambridge, MA, to develop and commercialize CAR therapies for treating cancers expressing the FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3) protein.
