FMCSA Renewal of Exemptions for Drivers with Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has decided to renew exemptions for 20 individuals from the rule requiring interstate commercial motor vehicle drivers to have no history of epilepsy or seizure disorders. These exemptions allow drivers who have had seizures and are taking medication to continue operating CMVs in interstate commerce.
