Zodiac Aero Evacuation Systems Receives Airworthiness Directive for Fusible Plugs on Emergency Evacuation Equipment

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive requiring Zodiac Aero Evacuation Systems to inspect and replace fusible plugs on emergency evacuation equipment due to reports of activation below rated temperature, posing a safety risk to transport category airplanes.
