New England Fishery Management Council Proposes Revised Specifications for Northeast Skate Complex Fishery Management Plan

The New England Fishery Management Council proposes to revise the 2018-2019 specifications for the Northeast Skate Complex Fishery Management Plan, reducing the management uncertainty buffer and increasing the annual catch target and total allowable landings by 20 percent. This action aims to achieve the skate wing total allowable landing while minimizing restrictions on fishing operations.
