FMCSA Renews SC&RA Exemption for Mobile Crane Drivers

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has renewed the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association's (SC&RA) exemption from the 30-minute rest break rule for certain commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers operating mobile cranes with a rated lifting capacity of greater than 30 tons, for a period of five years.
