US Army Corps of Engineers Withdraws Environmental Impact Statement for SC 31 Extension Project

The US Army Corps of Engineers is no longer preparing a Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the SC 31 extension project, which aims to connect the Carolina Bays Parkway to US 17, due to recent changes in federal funding and agency designations. The project, previously funded by the North Carolina Department of Transportation and South Carolina Department of Transportation, will now be evaluated by the Corps as a cooperating agency.
