U.S. Maritime Administration Seeks Public Comments on Request for Administrative Waiver of Coastwise Trade Laws for Sailing Catamaran

The U.S. Maritime Administration is seeking public comments on a request to waive U.S.-build requirements for a 46′ sailing catamaran, which would allow the vessel to carry up to twelve passengers for hire, provided it is three years old or more, as part of a proposed service.
