U.S. Maritime Administration Seeks Public Comments on Request for Administrative Waiver of Coastwise Trade Laws for Vessel TORTOISE

The U.S. Maritime Administration is seeking public comments on a request to grant an administrative waiver of the U.S.-build requirements of the coastwise trade laws, allowing the TORTOISE vessel to carry up to 12 passengers for hire, as it is over three years old.
