Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Regains Leasing Authority Under HEARTH Act

The Bureau of Indian Affairs approved the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Business Site Leasing Ordinance on September 18, 2018, allowing the tribe to enter into business and other authorized leases without additional BIA approval, as mandated by the Helping Expedite and Advance Responsible Tribal Homeownership Act of 2012.
