EPA Proposes Revisions to Privacy Act Regulations for eDiscovery System

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing changes to its Privacy Act regulations to exempt a new system of records, EPA-63, from certain requirements, as this system is used to support civil and criminal actions and maintain electronically stored information in support of the EPA's eDiscovery and Freedom of Information Act processes.
