EPA Approves Texas Plan for 1997 Ozone NAAQS Requirements

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is approving portions of two Texas State Implementation Plan (SIP) submittals that pertain to the good neighbor and interstate transport requirements of the Clean Air Act (CAA) with respect to the 1997 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). The approval is based on the Texas SIP submittals meeting the requirements of section 110 of the CAA.
