EPA Approves Maryland State Implementation Plan Revision for Municipal Waste Combustors and Cement Plants

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a state implementation plan revision submitted by the State of Maryland, which clarifies continuous opacity monitoring requirements and visible emission standards for municipal waste combustors and Portland cement plants, in accordance with the Clean Air Act.
