BOEM Announces 2019 Beaufort Sea Oil and Gas Lease Sale, Postpones Scoping Meetings Due to Alaska Earthquakes

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has announced its intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed 2019 Beaufort Sea Lease Sale, following a rescheduling of scoping meetings and extension of the comment period due to recent earthquakes in Alaska.
