HHS Proposes to Rescind Unique Health Plan Identifier and Entity Identifier Standards

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is proposing to rescind the adopted standard for a unique health plan identifier (HPID) and the other entity identifier (OEID), following industry input and a review of future options for a more effective standard.
