FAA Proposes to Remove Multiengine Training Requirement for ATP Certificate

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to remove the requirement for multiengine training for pilots seeking an initial Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a single-engine airplane type rating, and to revise several pilot certification regulations by removing the July 31, 2014 compliance date for the multiengine ATP training requirements.
