DoD Amends DFARS to Implement National Defense Authorization Act Provisions Regarding Foreign Commercial Satellite Services and Certain Items

The Department of Defense is updating its Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to include provisions from the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Years 2017 and 2018, which impose stricter controls on the acquisition of foreign commercial satellite services and certain items, including those from Russia and Communist Chinese military companies.
