NMFS Adjusts Swordfish Permit Retention Limits in Northwest Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, and U.S. Caribbean Regions

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is increasing the Swordfish General Commercial permit retention limits in the Northwest Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, and U.S. Caribbean regions from two or three fish to six swordfish per vessel per trip, effective January through June of the 2019 fishing year, unless otherwise noticed.
