U.S. Maritime Administration Seeks Public Comments on Request for Administrative Waiver of Coastwise Trade Laws for Vessel STARDUST
The U.S. Maritime Administration is seeking public comments on a request to waive the U.S.-build requirements of the coastwise trade laws for the STARDUST, a 103′ motor vessel, which would allow it to carry up to 12 passengers for hire. The waiver request is part of the Maritime Administration's authority to grant exemptions for vessels three years old or more.
