U.S. Copyright Office Seeks Public Input on Designation of Mechanical Licensing Collective and Digital Licensee Coordinator

The U.S. Copyright Office is seeking public input on the designation of a mechanical licensing collective and a digital licensee coordinator under the Orrin G. Hatch-Bob Goodlatte Music Modernization Act, enacted in 2018, which aims to modernize the compulsory license for making and distributing phonorecords of musical works.
