30-Day Notice of Proposed Information Collection: Form DS-156K, Nonimmigrant Fianc(e) Visa Application, OMB Control Number 1405-0096

The U.S. Department of State is seeking OMB approval to extend its current collection of Form DS-156K, used by nonimmigrant fiancés of U.S. citizens to apply for a visa, for an additional 30 days. The form is required for approximately 35,000 aliens each year, with each response taking about an hour to complete.
