A research misconduct investigation found that Venkata Sudheer Kumar Ramadugu, a former postdoctoral scientist at the University of Michigan, engaged in misconduct related to research funded by the National Institutes of Health, and as a result, he was subject to a five-year debarment period that began on December 4, 2018.
