Amtrak Requests Approval for Positive Train Control Safety Plan and System Certification

Amtrak has submitted its Positive Train Control Safety Plan (PTCSP) for approval, seeking certification for its Interoperable Electronic Train Management System (I-ETMS) after making revisions on July 17, 2018, and submitting the updated plan to the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) on August 9, 2018.
