Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC to Receive Exemptions for Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Decommissioning Activities

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted exemptions to Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC (HDI) to manage irradiated fuel and restore the site at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (Oyster Creek) without prior NRC notification, following the transfer of licenses from Exelon Generating Company, LLC (Exelon) to HDI and Oyster Creek Environmental Protection, LLC (OCEP).
