NRC Considers Transfer of Licenses for Three Nuclear Power Plants

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is reviewing an application by FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) to transfer licenses for three nuclear power plants, including Beaver Valley Power Station and Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, and their independent spent fuel storage facilities. The application includes sensitive, unclassified information and may lead to amendments to the plants' operating licenses.
