NRC Approves Decommissioning Funding Plans for Beaver Valley ISFSI

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing an environmental assessment and a finding of no significant impact for its review and approval of decommissioning funding plans submitted by FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company for the independent spent fuel storage installation at Beaver Valley Power Station in Shippingport, Pennsylvania, following plans submitted on December 8, 2014, and December 9, 2015.
