FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company Withdraws Application for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station License Amendment

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has approved FirstEnergy Solutions Corp.'s request to withdraw its application for a proposed license amendment at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, which would have updated the emergency plan following a permanent shutdown.
