FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company Withdraws License Amendment Request

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has approved FirstEnergy Solutions Corp.'s request to withdraw its application for a proposed amendment to the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station's license, which aimed to reflect the permanent cessation of reactor operation and defueling of the reactor.
