NRC Extends Public Comment Period for Greater-Than-Class-C Waste Disposal Rulemaking

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has extended the public comment period for a proposed rulemaking on the disposal of certain greater-than-Class-C radioactive waste in a low-level waste facility, originally set to close on September 20, 2019, and now to be closed on January 19, 2020.
