U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Holtec International Spent Fuel Storage System
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has confirmed the effective date of November 5, 2019, for a direct final rule that amended the agency's spent fuel storage regulations, adding the Holtec International Storage, Transport and Repository (HI-STAR) 100 Storage System to the list of approved casks.
