Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. Receives NRC Exemption for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Units 3 and 4

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. to deviate from the certification information of Tier 1 of the generic design control document for the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Units 3 and 4, allowing for changes to be made to the license amendment.
