DOD, GSA, and NASA Propose Amendment to Federal Acquisition Regulation for Construction Contract Administration

The Department of Defense (DOD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are proposing to update the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement a provision from the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019, which mandates that agencies provide a formal notice to prospective bidders and offerors when making equitable adjustments to change orders under construction contracts.
