DoD, GSA, and NASA Issue Final Rule to Exempt Seasonal Recreational Services from Minimum Wage Executive Order

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have issued a final rule to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and exempt certain contracts for seasonal recreational services or seasonal recreational equipment rental for the general public on Federal lands from an Executive order on minimum wage. This rule does not affect the use of contractors to provide services on Federal lands.
