Bureau Withdraws Proposal to Delay Effective Date of Debt Collection Final Rules

The Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection is withdrawing its proposal to delay the effective date of the Debt Collection Final Rules, which implement the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the rules will take effect on November 30, 2021, as previously finalized.
