Commission Announces Approval of OMB for Rural Call Completion Rules

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has received approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to implement rules requiring intermediate providers to register with the FCC before transmitting covered voice communications, as outlined in the FCC's Rural Call Completion, Third Report and Order (Order). The rules will remain in effect for a period of three years.
