US FCC to Hold Open Commission Meeting on April 12, 2019, to Discuss Spectrum Auctions and Modernization of Over-the-Air-Reception Devices

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will hold an open meeting on April 12, 2019, to consider several proposals related to spectrum auctions and the modernization of over-the-air-reception devices, including a report and order to allow fixed-satellite service earth stations to transmit in the 50 GHz band and a notice of proposed rulemaking to modernize the rule for over-the-air-reception devices.
