FDA Confirms Effective Date of Synthetic Flavoring Agent Ban

The FDA has responded to a joint objection from several environmental and health organizations, including Breast Cancer Prevention Partners and the Natural Resources Defense Council, regarding the final rule that banned the use of certain synthetic flavoring agents in food. The FDA has determined that the objection is not valid and therefore will not modify the regulations.
