FDA Clears TENEX Tablets for Sale Despite Safety Concerns

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has ruled that TENEX (guanfacine hydrochloride) tablets, available in 1mg, 2mg, and 3mg doses, were not withdrawn from sale due to safety or effectiveness concerns, allowing the FDA to continue approving abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) for the product.
