FDA Announces Final Guidance on Recognition and Withdrawal of Voluntary Consensus Standards

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a final guidance document outlining the principles and procedures for recognizing and withdrawing voluntary consensus standards, as well as the process for requesting recognition and circumstances under which the FDA may withdraw recognition, in response to the 21st Century Cures Act.
