FDA Proposes Revocation of Standard of Identity for French Dressing

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has proposed revoking the standard of identity for French dressing, in response to a citizen petition from the Association for Dressings and Sauces (ADS), citing concerns over consumer protection and product flexibility.
