USDA Reopens Comment Period for Genetically Engineered Citrus Tristeza Virus Permit

The US Department of Agriculture is reopening the public comment period for a draft environmental impact statement and preliminary pest risk assessment related to the proposed release of genetically engineered Citrus tristeza virus, following recent scientific research on vectoring of the virus.
