USDA Reopens Comment Period for Proposed Rule on Animal Welfare Licensing

The US Department of Agriculture is extending the public comment period for a proposed rule aimed at improving animal welfare licensing, reducing fees, and preventing noncompliant individuals and businesses from obtaining licenses to work with regulated animals.
