Opportunity for Designation in the South Carolina Area

The South Carolina Department of Agriculture's interim designation will expire on September 30, 2019, prompting the U.S. Department of Agriculture to seek applications from interested parties to provide official services in the state. As part of a broader reorganization, grain inspection activities formerly managed by the Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA) are now being transferred to the Agricultural Marketing Service.
