USDA Rural Development Issues Final Rule to Update Environmental Policies and Procedures

The USDA Rural Development is updating its Environmental Policies and Procedures regulation to allow for more flexibility in obligating federal funds for infrastructure projects, while ensuring compliance with National Environmental Policy Act procedures, in an effort to speed up project initiation and community economic development.
