USDA Amends Cotton Board Rules to Adjust Supplemental Assessment on Imports

The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is updating the Cotton Board Rules and Regulations to ensure that supplemental assessments collected on imported cotton and imported products with cotton content are aligned with those paid on domestically produced cotton. The changes also reflect updates to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) statistical reporting numbers.
