California Prune Industry to Benefit from Decreased Assessment Rate

The US Department of Agriculture has implemented a new assessment rate for dried prunes, reducing the rate from $0.28 to $0.25 per ton, as recommended by the Prune Marketing Committee, effective for the 2019-20 and subsequent crop years.
