TTB Proposes Establishment of Gabilan Mountains Viticultural Area in California

The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) is proposing to create a new viticultural area in Monterey and San Benito Counties, California, which would encompass approximately 98,000 acres and include the Mt. Harlan and Chalone areas, in order to provide better origin descriptions for wines and easier identification for consumers.
