Publication of the Tier 2 Tax Rates for Calendar Year 2022

The Internal Revenue Service has published the tier 2 tax rates for calendar year 2022, which are required by the Internal Revenue Code. These tax rates will fund benefits under the Railroad Retirement Act for railroad employees, employers, and employee representatives.
