Safran Helicopter Engines Proposes Update to Airworthiness Directive for Arrius 2B1 and 2F Turboshaft Engines

Safran Helicopter Engines, S.A. proposes to update its airworthiness directive (AD) for Arrius 2B1 and 2F turboshaft engines, requiring the replacement of fuel injector manifolds and privilege injector, or only the privilege injector, to address engine flameouts caused by coking. The updated directive would retain the same requirements as the current AD 2013-11-09, but allow for a preferred assembly of the pipe injector on Arrius 2F engines.
