NMFS Requests Public Comment on Exempted Fishing Permit Applications for Deep-Set Buoy Gear

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is seeking public input on twenty-seven exempted fishing permit applications to test the use of deep-set buoy gear and linked buoy gear for harvesting swordfish and other highly migratory species off the U.S. West Coast.
