EPA Announces AES Filing Compliance Date for Hazardous Waste Exports

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has set a December 31, 2017 filing compliance date for hazardous waste exports, requiring exporters to submit information into the Automated Export System (AES) or AESDirect for shipments of hazardous waste, universal waste, and spent lead-acid batteries, as well as cathode ray tubes for recycling.
